Welcome to The Florida Express Bus! We offer the most transportation options between Miami and Orlando than any other ground transportation company, including Amtrak! The distance between Orlando and Miami is 236 miles and the drive time is approximately 3 Hours and 45 Minutes once you are on the Florida Turnpike. Driving the trip by car can get relatively costly because there is a $20 Toll in each direction between Miami and Orlando. The most convenient way to get between Orlando and Miami is by bus service.

The Florida Express offers two types of service between Orlando and Miami. We have two bus trips a day departing Miami and Orlando. In addition, we also offer Door to Door Van service that will pick you up anywhere in Orlando or Miami and take you directly to your Airport, Cruise Port, Hotel, Business or Private Residence.

Both our Bus Trips and Van Trips between Miami and Orlando offer complimentary DVD Movies, spacious seating and two pieces of checked luggage and two small carry on pieces of luggage per passenger. There is a 15 to 20 minute rest stop at the half way point between Miami and Orlando. This is usually at the Port St. Lucie Turnpike Service Plaza where there is restroom facilities, snack bar, coffee shop and fast food restaurants. In addition, if you're coming to Orlando as a tourist, there is a Concierge Board that offers free travel guide information for all of Orlando's tourist attractions.

Why is it better to take The Florida Express? Flights from Miami to Orlando can be quite costly. American Airlines offers flights between Orlando and Miami upwards of $400.00 each way. You also have to calculate the time it takes to check in 90 minutes prior to departure, getting checked in, clearing through security, and then finding transportation from the airport to your final destination. Flying is not really time friendly between Orlando and Miami.

Amtrak offers daily train service between Miami and Orlando but you have to go through Tampa first. The total journey is about 8 hours in all. Greyhound offers service on their bus between Orlando and Miami but they stop at 17 different locations before you arrive at your destination.
